<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3">As you well know, I have documented my weight loss
journey for a while now. I am not one to follow fad diets, I believe in healthy
eating and moving more – it is the only thing that has ever worked for me.
However, when I was approached by Juicytox and asked if I wanted to
give juicing a go I couldn’t refuse. Juicing is something that a lot of people
have been talking about recently, it is not only the perfect detox
but also the new ‘kickstart’ to your weightloss journey. </span><span class="ecxs3">Juicytox is a <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Sussex</st1:place></st1:country-region> run business providing a 4
day detox.</span><span class="ecxs4"> The juices are freshly made with
ingredients such as, </span><span class="ecxs3">Celery, Spinach, Kale,
Cucumber, Apple, Lemon, Beetroot, Carrot, <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Orange</st1:place></st1:city>
and Ginger. You drink these regularly throughout the day, as well as completing your day with a nice cup of detox tea. </span></div>

<span class="ecxs4"><br /></span>
<span class="ecxs4">If you’re a food addict like me, you will find
it hard. However, it usually is mind over matter and if you are stubborn and
persevere you will reap the rewards! You have a mixture of green, orange and
red juice. <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Orange</st1:place></st1:city>
was by far my favourite and I looked forward to 1pm. I am a big water drinker
and always carry around a large pink sports bottle that I fill up throughout
the day, so making sure I drunk enough water was not a
problem for me. If this is a problem for you, a tip I have picked up along the
way is to buy a litre bottle of Evian and write the times of the day
on there ie. 9am 10am 11am – make yourself drink
the water up to the time of day. Giving yourself a challenge is a great way to
ensure you do it – who wants to lose to a water bottle!?!?</span></div>
<span class="ecxs4">

<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs4"><br /></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3">I am a food lover, and I find nothing more
satisfying than having a munch on my favourite foods. I am also a gym
bunny, going to the gym around 4 times a week. Taking part in Juicytox’s 4
day detox meant I had to give this up. Going to the gym is not advised by Juicytox
as your energy levels will be expectantly lower. However naughty old me did still go the gym (I’m an addict,
oops). However, I took my level down and listened to my body. I found that this
didn’t cause me too many problems – yes, my energy levels were slightly lower
than usual but I had no problems finishing an hours workout. </span><span style="color: red;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3"><br /></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3" style="background-color: #d5a6bd;">Now for the results...</span><o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3"><br /></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3">Everyone’s body is completely different, and
the way it works is completely malleable to your lifestyle. I am quite an
active person, I walk everywhere and am always on my feet. This did
mean I found Juicytox particularly hard. This however was soon
outweighed when I began to see results.</span><o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3">I have a big problem with lactose and white
carbs. I swell up to the size of a balloon and look like I am 7 months pregnant
(not attractive). In my daily diet I try to stay away from these food groups –
but who can resist a bread roll and a bar
of choccy sometimes? Juicytox reduced my bloating by 100% - My
belly was finally flat!! I was very impressed with these results. </span><span style="color: red;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3"><br /></span></div>
<div class="ecxs2" style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="ecxs3">In terms of measurements, over the 4 days I
lost a total of just under 6lbs – a great loss. All together this
equated to 1 inch around my belly and just under an inch around my waist. However,
about a week later I did find that I put these back on very quickly. I wasn’t
surprised by this however, as even though I do live a reasonably healthy
lifestyle, I deprived my body of food and as soon as I gave it what it wanted
it grabbed a hold! The most important benefits it beheld however for me
personally, did not lie in the weightloss. Though weightloss is a huge
component to juicing, it is the cleansing and detoxifying experience that lies
at its forefront. These benefits were shown from not only my decreased bloating
but my skin as well. I have never had problem skin only the odd spot. However,
I did find my complexion had brightened up and any blemishes/spots I did have
were clearing nicely. </span>This is supported my Juicytox who state that
weight isn’t the only benefit of a juicing detox. Juicytox claims
that those who have completed Juicytox experience:</div>

<span class="ecxs3">I must say, I agree with all of the benefits
and I experienced them all to some extent. Especially determination:
like I said, it is mind of matter, and if you can prove to yourself that you
can do it; you really can do anything!<span style="color: red;"> </span></span>I was very impressed by many aspects
of Juicytox.. I would do the detox again, only if it was prior to going on
holiday or an event in which I wanted to look good. I would also do it if I had
over indulged – over Christmas time for example. Having an outcome to reach for
and a target to look forward to would make it a lot easier.</div>

<span style="background-color: #d5a6bd;"> How I Lost 20lbs // My Updated Weight Loss Story </span><br />
<br />
I thought I would mark my return with a little update on my weight loss story/journey. It is an ongoing journey for me, sometimes one I enjoy and other times I loathe. Though weight is an increasingly sensitive and negatively transcribed subject, it is one I approach with honesty. </div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I will start from the beginning. Like most, I started off with the intention to lose a bit of weight. Through school I had been carrying my 'puppy fat' for a little bit too long, and holding on to the hope that I would grow a little taller. That never happened, and no, I never grew out of the 'puppy fat' stage. Your teens is the most difficult time of your life, emotionally and physically you are experiencing changes that you don't understand. You are getting emotional about silly things, you are coming into the 'important' parts of your education, you are perhaps getting your first boyfriend... and things seem to be in just one chaotic cycle of emotions. That's OK! I would however, like to point out that as I have grown older I look back, and think about how hard it must be to be a parent of a teenage daughter. Keeping up with the constant cyclone of emotions is pretty daunting to me!! </div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, in my early teens, I never really batted an eyelid about my weight. I would come home from school, snack on unhealthy food, and just slob out on the sofa. I am not one for sports, I HATE competitive sport and would do anything to avoid it. I knew my eating habits were bad, I was quite aware of that. Though, I would like to point out that my weight gain/chubbyness was completely my own fault and my own doing. I was a sneaky eater, I would eat in private and hide it from others, often lying about what i'd eaten that day. It was when I reached 15/16 that I realized this had to stop. It was the summer of 2009, the year of my GCSE's, the summer of my prom and the summer that I went on holiday with a friend. I was shocked by the pictures from this holiday especially, and now, I despise looking back on my prom pictures. It was a lovely day, and at the time, I felt fine and completely confident. The pictures however told a different story:</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8dHBXzWIFjoV17_ENvFSsMMJiAWw3axeSJiTnWIJENjgCEtnbp48dzNhN5hNlAQ0-K_kabZExvBvNkejXjHX2YBpnHji4C07kv2DMA2NH6OjeA8SQSZgf070RC0UuKuo2BtIJ6fW4OEI/s1600/wlpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8dHBXzWIFjoV17_ENvFSsMMJiAWw3axeSJiTnWIJENjgCEtnbp48dzNhN5hNlAQ0-K_kabZExvBvNkejXjHX2YBpnHji4C07kv2DMA2NH6OjeA8SQSZgf070RC0UuKuo2BtIJ6fW4OEI/s1600/wlpic.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It was at this fragile age that I began to feel conscious about my weight, knowing that I wasn't perhaps as 'skinny' as my friends. Though, I must say I was never unhappy or had extreme insecurity issues. The thing I love about myself, and I pride myself on is my positive attitude - I would define myself as a pretty well-rounded self confident women. Yes, I have my problems, but weight was never at the forefront of them. I did however have a will to change my body. During this time, I really had no idea how to go about it. I wasn't aware of online communities or blogs, like tumblr that we have now. It was simple, I just cut down on my snacks.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When school came back around I made the decision to start jogging every morning. I remember distinctly waking up at silly o'clock and running for 10 minutes - I was rubbish. I have a complete love-hate relationship with running, and back then it was completely hate. Unsurprisingly, it didn't last very long. I was trying to force myself in to exercise and the more I forced, the more I hated. It was tough. I didn't know what path to take, but I carried on eating healthy. The pounds did come off slowly, but the difference wasnt significant. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hate to admit it, but one thing that did spark the beginning of my weightloss was something that most girls will experience one way or another - the heartbreak diet. Now, I was usually the one to run to food for comfort, but this time it was completely different. I lost a few pounds, I saw a difference and so did my friends. It was this summer I decided to join the gym with two of my friends. I can categorically say it was one of the BEST decisions I ever made. I learn't so much during that summer, I lost 10lbs and I loved my body. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Then, Uni came around. I was victim to the freshers 15. I put my hands up and take complete blame for it - it was the food. I know most people link a lot of boozy nights out with weightgain, but I am not a huge drinker myself. Living by myself for the first time, I took a lazy attitude to food. Id stick things in the oven, and munch away - bacon sandwiches were my weakness, and chicken nuggets were my dinners. I am so ashamed to admit it - but you learn from these bumps in the road. I remember my boyfriend coming to visit, and we were going out on a night out. I tried on around 10 dresses, with only one of them fitting me. I burst into tears, I think it took Jack by surprise!! Again, I had another realization that things had to change, my hard work over the summer had been completely destroyed and I was feeling my lowest. The next 6 months were very much the same, yoyo-ing between weight and not dedicating myself. I wasn't able to make that commitment. Yep, I went to the gym every so often, but I couldn't commit. My relationship with food was atrocious, I'd eat hardly anything one day, and i'd binge the next. It was a very dangerous thing to do.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
However, something changed in my second year a uni. I lived further away and walked to my lectures everyday. Having a nice kitchen (not crappy student halls), I was more inclined to cook meals. I also started working in a pub, which really brought structure to my day. I would eat three meals a day, which were mainly meat and veg. I would go to a gym class at uni 3 times a week and things really kicked off. I was losing weight, my jeans were getting looser and I loved it. Of course, it wasn't all easy, I would have days where I would binge, and I still do. In fact, I had one last night. I love my food and I would never fully deprive myself, I just had to learn how to make the right choices.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is now a year from then and although I am a few pounds heavier than last year, I am happy. I go to gym classes 4 times a week Monday-Thursday and make the conscious effort to eat three meals a day. It is not always easy, my schedule is very busy and I am always up and about. But by PLANNING ahead, I do manage to get by. I am off to Thailand in the summer and I do plan on losing a little more, and toning up so I am 100% happy. I have never been a skinny girl, and I will never be the ultimate girl figure. But I am me, and, to be honest, I love my curves. Here are some up to date pictures of me - </div>

Hello my darlings!<br />
<br />
Yes, I am back! My massive apologies for my absence recently - I have had a lot of life things going on meaning that blogging had to take a bit of a step back! This post is going to be a rambly one, talking about what I've been up to, my future plans and tying up some bits and bobs! A lot of you have said you liked my rambly posts before so this is for you! For those that don't, please feel free to press the little red X on the top right hand corner. I won't be offended, I promise!</div>

Where have you been!? I hear you ask! At the end of August I headed on holiday with the lovely boyfriend to beautiful bay named Kiotari which is on the island of Rhodes. It was a long awaited holiday and I just couldn't wait to get away! Our English summer was actually quite successful in the fact that we had glorious sunshine for a good amount of weeks! But there is nothing like holiday sun! It is different, though its the same sun...it's just different ok!We had such a great time, and it was so nice to have a week of sun, cocktails and the pool! We headed to a waterpark one day which turned us both into children again, flying down the slides! We also did a bit of jetskiing, which I think has permanently bruised my bum! (ouch). Below are some photos of our time in Rhodes to give you a little insight of our week of paradise!</div>

In the past 2 weeks I have also moved back to Uni! I have been moving in to my new house and settling in as well as starting lectures and all that jazz! A room tour will be happening in the near future, probably in an arty video style of collage style - let me know what you would prefer! I have begun my third and final year of uni and I cant quite believe it! I am terrified but also very excited - My life will truly begin this summer! Eeeeeek!</div>

Anyway, I am back! Hello, Gutentarg, bonjour and all!</div>

<br />
A quick collective haul post for you guys today. Over the past few weeks I have visited both Boots and Superdrug and have picked up a couple of things. Those of you who aren't from the UK, Boots and Superdrug are both drugstore products full of makeup, toiletries and medicines (I'm sure you have all heard of them anyway). I didn't head in to these shops with the intention of picking up some products, lets say that they just <i>accidentally</i> caught my eye and fell in to my basket. Now, I was going to go on a hunt for the Babylips, I know I am late on this bandwagon but after reading some tweets, I felt that perhaps the hype wasn't quite worth it just now - maybe I will pick them up another time. Enough of my rambles, back to the haul!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #ea9999;"><b>Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - Translucent</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i>Again!?!? </i>I hear you exclaim! Yes, again and probably the time after that and the time after that. I use this product daily in order to combat my oily problem areas - my nose! This product is definitely not the best kept secret in the beauty industry and the blogosphere and I have read many mixed reviews on the stuff. I personally am a huge fan of it, and I feel that it easily rivals some of the more high end powder products on the market. For the price of it, you can't go wrong - I would recommend you give it a go if you are prone to 'shininess' - you know the photos that we all dread! Also, have I been living under a rock or since when did they make the powder in to a cute little pattern!?!?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #ea9999;">MUA's Mozaic Bronzer</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A little note here - this product was placed on the wrong shelf and me being me picked up what I thought was a blusher and happily strolled off with it. So, I was a little surprised to find it was a bronzer. Nevertheless, I am a bronzed goddess (<i>pfffffttt</i>) more like a bronze worshipper and happily welcomed it into my bronzer collection. On application it applies more like a blush - the pinky/corally tones in the mozaic certainly outweigh the darker tones. Therefore I wouldn't be able to use this as an all over bronzer - it is a perfect shade for the apples of my cheeks to create a natural bronzed/corally/pinky/whatevery/sophisticatery effect.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #ea9999;">Maybeline 24 hr Colour Tattoo in #35 on and on bronze</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am a self confessed powder eyeshadow lover and have rarely stepped in to the gel/cream eyeshadow area. However, I have read many reviews on the Colour Tattoos and I decided to go for it. Many people were saying that it creates a lovely base and it certainly does. The colour I chose is quite dark to be classified as an all over base but works very well blended in the outer corners of my eyes. If I was to show you my eye colour collection it consists mainly of bronzes and browns - I need to branch out but I just love a neutral shade!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="color: #ea9999;">Models Own Eyelash Curlers</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I was in<i> DESPERATE </i>need for a new pair of eyelash curlers. For a beauty tool I use daily you would have thought I would have taken care of my old pair. But, no.... Mainly because I bought my last pair off a whim from Primark, with a scarce intention to use it. As time went on, I began falling in love with my Primark eyelash curlers and using them more and more. As you can imagine they got very grubby. Wondering the aisles of Boots I came across these eye lash curlers - it comes as no surprise that they are pink! I have yet to try these out yet as I was saving them to take a picture but the pads feel soft and they clamp with ease - I will be letting you know how I get on.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Just a reminder that my 100 Follower Giveaway is still running - there is a button for it on the top right of my blog. I am looking forward to giving something back to you all and have loved celebrating this milestone with each and everyone one of you!</div>

Hello Lovelies,</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Last night was 'date night' and we headed to a Crazy Golf course called Pirate Island. I know, sounds kiddy, but Jack and I are a big pair of kids! It was so fun, but with Jack being a PGA pro my chances of coming out champ were fading fast before I'd even begun. Unsurprisingly, the results were already written before I had begun, getting 64 while Jack got 45. Oops! I am holding out to the fact that I got a hole in 1 though - I think I deserve to win really!? After, we headed to a really nice restaurant/pub that served delicious food - lamb rump, prosecco and Sauvignon Blanc went down very well!</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
While we were there I thought I would do a little OOTD, seeing as the weather was kind and I was wearing my Missguided dress for the first time! </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">

Hello All :)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A quick review for you guys - I, like most girls absolutely love to have long luscious hair. My natural hair is long, but quite thin at the bottom due to neglect and damage through bleaching (arghh)! I had heard so much about the foxylock extensions that I had to check them out. Run by Imogen who has her on YouTube channel - "foxylockextensions" , the company promote the thickest 100% remmy hair extensions. I was so pleased when these turned up on my doorstep in a beautiful pink envelope - how exciting! I couldn't wait to try them. I have been wearing them mostly as a pony tail - due to work. But wearing them down gives me such long hair a whopping 20" !! </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I ordered the deluxe set in shade #4 Chocolate Brown. I found the colour match process quite simple through previous extension purchases. The deluxe set comes with 10 different extension sizes, consisting of 1 clips, 2 clips, 3 clips and 4 clips. They are very simple to use - and I just love the end result. There is a lot I could say about this product but as I always say pictures speak louder than words so I will let the pictures do the talking. </div>

Hello All,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
It is that time again! The end of the month, meaning that I have a July Favourites post for you guys. I always feel that a month isn't long enough, it seems as if it flies by - making it quite hard to pick my favourite products. My June favourites post which you can read <a href="http://sophisticatexx.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/june-favourites.html" target="_blank">here</a> still apply to my daily/weekly routine and are still what I consider to be my favourites. However, another month, another load of products! I have decided to split my favourites into three categories : hair care, skin care and makeup. This way, you guys can pick and choose what products you would like to read about. </div>

I think all of us have been very aware of that yellow thing in the sky radiating heat and light upon us, if not, then we may have realised our hair becoming limp and lifeless. It is not secret that hot and humid weather can effect your hair, so I went on a mission to find a product to combat this. I have used TRESemme's 24 hour body range before, so I decided to look there for a product to increase volume. This easy to use spray is just sprayed directly onto your roots after washing. This means it is applied on damp hair - making it work through blow drying (I usually blow dry my hair upside down). It has the standard smell that is associated with the brand which I find quite pleasant. It has really made a difference to my hair this month and I will definitely be repurchasing.</div>

<span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong><u>Lee Stafford - Argan Oil Miracle Oil -</u></strong></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #444444;">Along with lifeless hair comes dry hair. I am victim to the horrible side effects of hair dying. Last summer I had a stint of becoming a blonde bimbo, it didn't last long, but the damage to my hair is irreversible. I am considerably lucky though as the damage isn't too obvious. However, I do suffer tremendously with split/dry ends. I got this product for my birthday along with the conditioner from the same collection. The great thing about this oil is that is can be used both on dry hair and wet hair. I rub a pea sized amount between my fingers and run through the ends of my hair after washing and before drying. If I require a deeper treatment I will often apply before I go to bed and wash it off in the morning. After using the product my hair looks visibly nourished and feels heavenly soft.</span></div>

<span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong><u><br />Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips -</u></strong></span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I had heard so much about these miracle strips before I spotted them on sale in Boots. I had to pick them up as I find the original price tag must have been quite pricey (I got these for £5.99)! There is nothing more satisfying than pulling the nose strip off and looking at the baddies it has pulled out of your pores. It really is as simple as that, you slightly wet your nose, stick the strip on, wait 10 minutes and pull it off! It does feel quite tingly as the nose strip is hardening which in my eyes, is an indication that it works! I was surprised by feeling a little pain when pulling the strip off - but I can really say that it did clean my pores out perfectly! I even put it on my boyfriends nose to clear his pores out - you didn't want to see what was left on that when I pulled it off!</div>

<span style="color: #ea9999;"><u><strong>Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub -</strong></u></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: black;">This is another cult beauty blogger product and one that I definitely do not regret buying. I bought this pot before I went skiing earlier this year - anyone who has gone skiing would know that your lips tend to get very dry. Lip care was really something I had to get on top of and now I couldn't live without this pot of loveliness. I am a huge fan of lush products because they are all very natural and fair trade. Exfoliating your lips is something that you wouldn't necessarily think is important, but once you start you really do notice a difference. This product smells AMAAHHHZZZINNNNGG and tastes equally amazing. The great thing about it is that you can lick it off after - giving you a cheeky sugary treat in your skincare routine. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I am a big big fan of a dewy foundation, and I was so happy when I found a drug store alternative in Rimmel's Wake Me Up. I have repurchased this twice since my original purchase and I love it. I use the shade #103 True Ivory which seems to be perfect for both summer and winter - my face never really manages to tan. Its application is typical of a liquid foundation and goes on very smoothly. Of course, it has an SPF in it which is amazing for your skin health - keeping your beautiful while protecting your skin! I find that dry matte foundations often stick to my dry bits leaving a flakey residue - I found this with the Matte Mousse foundation. However, because this has a dewy texture I am able to avoid this. It looks beautiful and leaves my skin feeling and looking glowey. It sometimes does leave a sticky residue after application but this often goes after the application of some powder or leaving a little time for it to dry. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #444444;">This lipstick is quite a recent purchase and is already a favourite! It featured in my MAC haul which you can read <a href="http://sophisticatexx.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/iddy-biddy-mac-haul.html" target="_blank">here</a>. I love how girly the shade is and I always feel so glamorous with it on my lips. It looks great with a nude/light pink lip gloss over the top. Anyone who is anyone has tried/used/wants a MAC lipstick - their professional brand image and product quality is what sets this brand above most.</span></div>

Hello Lovelies :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I thought it was about time that I wrote a little post as part of my Top 3 series! I admit it, I am a self confessed, beauty addicted, product hoarder. So, expectedly my makeup collection I growing every second. I love to experiment with different colours and looks but like most, I always find myself going back to and sticking with 2 or 3 shades. When Clinique launched their Chubby Stick collection I was so excited, and had to head down and buy one. I even blogged about it <a href="http://sophisticatexx.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/cliniques-chubby-stick.html">here</a> - man I love looking back at my old posts - its so great to see how my little bit of internet space has grown! As you can see, one of my favourite chubby sticks is the very first one I got my hands on (#13 Mighty Mimosa) . It is such a lovely shade and is perfect for a subtle everyday lip colour. </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Now, all this Mighty Mimosa stuff was before Clinique had introduced their Chubby Stick Intense range. Obviously, when the range was released, the first thing I wanted to do was go out and buy it. However, my birthday was coming up so I had to sit on my hands, and tie my feet together to prevent me from running to the counter. Coincidently, I was kindly gifted two intense chubby sticks and since then, I have repurchased. I would say that my favourite shades are very much summer shades - in the winter I find myself reaching for actual lipsticks. The chubby sticks are so easy for summer, as it is really like wacking on a bit of carmex or chapstick - but obviously way prettier! As you all may have realised, I always find myself reaching for a nude - exactly what is in my favourites - I'm getting predictable eh? :) Curviest Caramel is such a lovely colour, that turns into a very natural 'lip colour'. On a night out, the perfect, fun and a bit more 'out there' shade is Plushest Punch - a very rich pink, very girly and very me!</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Clinique as a brand is perfect, customer service, product range, colour range, skincare range and shopping experience all meet a high ten in my opinion. Their chubby sticks are by far their best creation. Although many high street/drug store brands have bought out similar products - with very similar packaging, I am still a chubby chaser!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I think every British beauty blogger got a little bit excited when they saw that the mag Cosmo were including a Nip + Fab freebie in this months magazine. I had to grab a copy and try this product for myself. Being a little pale milk bottle recently, this English summer we have been getting the past couple of weeks has taken its toll on my skin. I am finally getting a little bit of a tan - hopefully more by the time I head off on holiday. I am also very lucky to have a pool in my garden making the English heat a lot more bearable! However, the chlorine really does suck the moisture out of your skin, especially my legs. This is why I picked the product that was specifically for dry legs. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The scent of this product is gorgeous! It has the scent that I would associate with a spa - very natural and subtle. The product itself on application has a great milky consistency. I often find most moisturising creams and lotions have a very oily/sticky feel to them meaning I have to flap my legs around in order for them to feel even a little dry! It does absorb very quickly in to the skin. However, I am a huge fan of body butters, both the argan oil range and the body shop range. I always find body butters very enriching and luxurious which is something I didn't feel with this product. After use, my legs did stay moisturised and had a little glow to them - very flattering for any type of legs. I have been using this everyday and I do think I will repurchase again at some point, when on sale or part of a deal in boots.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Hello All :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Perfume, although such a personal preference and product I find it to be the most interesting. I love how a whiff of a certain scent can take you back to a certain time or place, remind you of a certain person and make you feel content or nostalgic. I remember when I had my first perfume back when I was about 11. I picked up a cute floral scent from the teenage section in the duty free shop coming back from a family holiday. Since then, I have never looked back. Perfume is such a statement element in my everyday life and I often feel underdressed if I am not carrying around my signature whiff! It was hard to choose a singular signature scent as over the last year or so I have been chopping and changing between two. I do not have a large perfume collection as I am very particular. I like these two scents, so as stubborn as I am, I will stick with these two scents purchasing over and over again! One could say I am a very loyal customer! ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: #ea9999;"><strong>Chloe by Chloe. RRP: £52.20</strong></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Now, if you could ask my closest friends what scent reminds them of me. I can guarantee the majority of them would say Chloe perfume. My love affair with this sweet and subtle floral scent started in my early teens. I have never been one for strong fragrances, and as a young teen my parents were very aware and keen for me to try slightly subtler scents. Again, this was on a trip home from a family holiday in the duty free store (you can see a pattern emerging eh?). I was adamant I would find a perfect scent for me, I was definitely on a mission. After spraying the whole collection and feeling slightly light headed and whoozy I came across this little bottle. Tied around the neck was a cute little dusty pink bow, of course it was already a hit with me, dusty pink and bows?! <em>Yes! </em>I always find it immensely difficult to describe fragrances as I feel that every nose is different and every one smells a slightly different scent. I sprayed it onto the testing strip and I immediately knew it was the one for me. It is a very subtle scent but also very young. It is floral but not an old type of toilet floral, if you get the jist. It is very much an everyday perfume reeling with delicacy and femininity. Also perfect for any of my younger readers, wanting to smell pretty but avoiding the (quote Mean Girls) baby prostitute smell. Seven years later I am still purchasing this perfume over and over again. I have once or twice strayed but have always returned to my trusty bottle of Chloe.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong><span style="color: #ea9999;">Jimmy Choo. RRP: £40.95</span></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Jimmy Choo's original scent is one that is very new to my dressing table. A friend of mine would always wear this distinctive scent and I would find myself asking every time what is was. It happened to be Jimmy Choo. She is a long time wearer of this scent, and it is one of those smells that instinctively reminds me of her. At Christmas time my brother handed me a gift, round in shape, much like a bucket. As I opened it, it appeared to be a pink snake skinned box. Ever the curious mite I opened the box further. Inside was a delicate little bottle of Jimmy Choo perfume paired with a cute pink tube of body lotion. I knew straight away that from now, this was going to join my little Chloe perfume bottle on my dressing table without any hesitation. I am coming to the end of this bottle so I am looking to replace it, I did say I was a loyal customer! The scent is just divine and very distinctive. It is one of those scents that when you get one little sniff of it you want more, giving it a very sensual edge. I like to wear this in the evening, whether that is out for dinner or a night out with my girlfriends. However, it does work very well in the daytime for some. Perfumes are such a personal thing and really become part of your physical persona. </div>

<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
As you all know it was my birthday last week. My brother was
at a dead end with a gift he could get me. I told him I would like some makeup
and low and behold, like most men, he panicked, not having a clue what who
when or where makeup came from. I expect from the help of my Mum, he decided to
very kindly give me a voucher for House of Fraser... PERFECT!<o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="separator" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
So, as any beauty fanatic girlfriend would do, I
dragged my hung-over boyfriend to the shops on a boiling hot Sunday afternoon.
Heading straight to the MAC counter I knew exactly what I wanted to get my
little mitts on! I couldn't wait to fill my bag full of beauty goodness!<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I have wanted these products for a long time, and they are something I have
waited a few months for. I am and I think I always will be
a sucker for MAC products, for their quality, pigmentation and
overall edginess. I really enjoy my shopping experience while at the counter,
it almost feels as if they have all day to discuss beauty with you.
I purchased 5 items, 5 items that I knew could be used everyday for subtle day
time look but when collaborated with my other products they could be
transformed into an awesome evening look.<o:p></o:p><br />

Snob is a beautiful pink shade, that can look quite Barbie-esque if applied too harshly. Yet with a cute little clear gloss over the top I love the colour that it gives. I love nude lippies, especially on a night out as I usually go very dark on the eyes. The nude lip isn't every bodies cup of tea, but I think it suits my face as I have very small lips. Mac's crème d'nude gave me the perfect nude hade for my lips while avoiding the foundation lip situation!<br />

<br />
The eyeshadows' I picked up are ones that are very popular in the blogging community. Both woodwinked and Naked Lunch work so well either on their own or combined. The shimmer is unoffensive and the shades really compliment each other. <br />

The last item I bought was Mac's Harmony Blush. Its shade is very natural and I found it hard to take a decent swatch picture. I have been using it to contour the hollows of my cheek. My face has seemed to unusually found the sun this year, so I have a bit of a tan and Harmony really compliments that.</div>

<br />
<br />
Gym. Heaven to some, hell to others. Throughout school I was never the one to jump at fitness, gym programmes or sports games. It wasn't until 2 years ago when I really began thinking about incorporating the gym in to my everyday life. My two best chums at the time were both members at the local gym, so I took the chance a started a membership. I haven't looked back since. I also have a gym membership at Uni meaning I can still keep on top of my fitness even during term time.<br />
<br />
Over the last couple of months (apart from this week, birthday week = lazy), I have really stepped up my gym routine in order to get summer ready. The exact machines I use in my routine often change daily/weekly/whenever I feel like it BUT the basis of my routine involved 30-50min cardio and 20min-30min strength and resistance. I will often only go to the gym merely for their cardio and come home to do my strength exercises' through Pilates. However, for this post, I am going to take you through my gym routine when I stay their for the full programme.<br />
<br />
I usually arrive at the gym at around 5.30ish, this time works well for me. I get very hungry which often leads me to become nauseated after the gym, however if I go at this time I know that as soon as I return home it will be dinner time. This also stands as an important element of my motivation to complete my workout. <br />
<br />
<strong><u>My Routine</u></strong><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1./ I head over to the treadmill for my <strong><u>warm up</u></strong>, power walking/slow jogging for 5 minutes, this gets my heart rate up ready for the big stuff.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2./ <strong><u>My Cardio</u></strong> - this is often where I chop and change.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If I am feeling motivated and determined I stay of the treadmill starting regular sprint/jog/speed walk intervals at 30 secs to 2 mins each. I will keep doing this for 15-20 minutes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Another thing I will do is hop onto the cross trainer and simply stay on it for 30 minutes. I find it a lot less physically and mentally strenuous than the treadmill but it also burns a decent amount of calories if done at a high level and speed.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The bike is a machine I turn to every time I go to the gym, even if it is just for 5 minutes. I wack the level up to 10 and cycle to my hearts content.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Another is the hill climber. It is an absolute killer and I usually hate every second of it, but once Im done I feel hella good! My top tip is to set your self a time or metres climbed and have something to reach before you stop.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The rowing machine is my last set of cardio. I often set to 1000m and see how quickly I can complete it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I switch these up often to make up the amount of minutes doing cardio.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><u>3./ Toning -</u></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Power Plate - I hop onto the power plate. A vibrating plate that makes your muscles contract twice as much. I will do push ups, planks, sits up and squats on this machine. 20 reps 10 sets. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I usually only do matt work when I am at home doing Pilates, which will be a different post.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><u>4./ Cooling Down-</u></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hop back onto the treadmill and walk slowly often on 5 speed on a slight incline. I do this for 5 minutes until my heart is slowing down and muscles are feeling a little looser.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will then head over to the matts and do a couple of stretches. I really need to make stretches more prominent in my routine but that is simply down to laziness.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="left" style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The amount I go to the gym often varies but it is usually no less than 4 times a week. I now enjoy going, and love the feeling of improving my body.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
What is your gym routine?</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL1LqQTOC4JENoLOPeQ4TaGuUvn_-sM9AWbpPaBik9fTp8Mtm8RoIG_cUW36ALvPnJEtDEvYJe9Otn5FKEFW9sFYBG1z40DdkB0liuQZZkts8V7Nq_ZKr4cdOmN2swibvcVFPNv3hHGbo/s1600/skin+care+group+pic+ed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL1LqQTOC4JENoLOPeQ4TaGuUvn_-sM9AWbpPaBik9fTp8Mtm8RoIG_cUW36ALvPnJEtDEvYJe9Otn5FKEFW9sFYBG1z40DdkB0liuQZZkts8V7Nq_ZKr4cdOmN2swibvcVFPNv3hHGbo/s400/skin+care+group+pic+ed.jpg" width="391" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Looking at my blog history it seems that the most popular post was my last facial skin care routine outline. Over the last few months I have developed this and catered to my changing skin. I have always had combination skin, but recently I have developed a slightly oily centre with the odd dry patch. This has made me have to rethink my skin care routine and develop one that is perfect for both my oily skin and my dry patches. Developing a skin care routine is one that is often ever-evolving and changing. Our skin, especially on the face, is not a static entity, with age, weather and other external and internal factor it evolves, sheds and grows with us. Facial skin care is my no.1 priority, not only for hygiene but for health too. Yes, we have all had nights where we are too lazy to remove all of our makeup. We are all human, but that feeling when you wake up with sticky eyes and greasy skin is the worst and often leaves me feeling tired. <br />
<br />
<strong><u>Cleansing Products:</u></strong><br />
<br />
<u>1. Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover.</u><br />
As an avid lover of mascara and eye shadow I need a product that can remove my eye makeup quickly but gently with no scrubbing or irritation. In order for the product to have a 'double effect' you have to shake the solution together mixing the blue and translucent colour to create the perfect eye makeup remover recipe! I squeeze a small amount on 2 cotton pads (you can buy these cheaply from any drug store/supermarket) and hold these to my eyes while wiping slowly across my lids and lashes. No rubbing required! This featured in my June favourites, and I think it will stay in my favourites for a long while. <br />
<br />
<u>2. Bioderma H20 cleansing solution.</u><br />
I think every blogger and their dog owns this cleansing water and there is definitely a reason why. I use this after my eye makeup remover to remove any residue and to begin removing the makeup on my face. Bioderma is clear and scent free providing a refreshing cleansing experience. Again, I place the solution on to a cotton pad and wipe in circular motions. I love the feeling that Bioderma gives after cleansing and it has the effect of a toner (the tingling, pore clenching feeling). <br />
<br />
<u>3. Garnier Soft Essentials Rose Extract Cleansing Lotion.</u><br />
To calm the tingling sensation I place a pea sized amount of this lotion to a cotton pad and wipe in circular motions. The smell is just delicious and it really kicks start the moisturising stage of my skin care routine. This stage is probably not essential or necessary but I love the way it feels on my skin.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong><u>Toning and Moisturising Products -</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUoHE2oyD695psoDU_TWttCKJPu0Nr8tVnWE2zuvPFx0hCPakNZJe5VZVOkSUJ8jlf4eCHNxCeOo9Q0-CWViEQ1NiAJv8hFCgmp6BR_mZZNZUtfj7YrHg-tCzXbuVlCQ8MsDsY2xab_ek/s1600/Skincare+moisterise+toning+ed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="215" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUoHE2oyD695psoDU_TWttCKJPu0Nr8tVnWE2zuvPFx0hCPakNZJe5VZVOkSUJ8jlf4eCHNxCeOo9Q0-CWViEQ1NiAJv8hFCgmp6BR_mZZNZUtfj7YrHg-tCzXbuVlCQ8MsDsY2xab_ek/s320/Skincare+moisterise+toning+ed.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>1. Caudalie Beauty Elixir -</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I give my face a quick spritz with the gorgeous Caudalie beauty spray. It is so refreshing and really tones and tightens those pores creating the perfect environment to start moisturising.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>2. Boots Botanic Calming Night Cream and Brightening Day Cream -</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have always been a fan of the Boots Botanics range for its availability, price label and quality. In the morning, I use the day cream which has extracts of marsh mellow and a slight pinky colour in order to brighten your complexion before even using any makeup. I place a small amount on my finger tips and massage into the face and neck. The same is applicable for the Night Cream which is cool and calming and ultra moisturising to the point where you can feel it working its magic all throughout the night.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>4. Loreal Youth Code Eye Cream -</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I use this eye cream twice a day, placing a few dots of the product under my eyes and massaging it in with my ring finger. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong><u>For those Troublesome Spots -</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>1. Boots, Skin Clear Spot stick</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am very lucky to say that I have never been one to suffer badly from spots. I get a couple every now and then through stress or TOTM but other than that I am so so lucky! However, if I do start to feel even a slight tinge of a spot coming through I wack out this Skin Clear wand as my first and only method of defence. It is a great price and works just as well as tea tree oil. It has a little dove foot applicator perfect for placing directly on to the trouble spot!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKZtnaLKj2BECvTU-t_zRw194NOdVAAKv0pbf44W_z6NyTKdxze89f-vMWIHeK4TqC9bnQM4aC7qY5nvDBQtXjtwp9XnO3Bdlqs2WH2Q_lKb7BLlLSj3xuWaOycWzn1R5ooEsPShkEEfc/s1600/Skin+care+spots+ed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKZtnaLKj2BECvTU-t_zRw194NOdVAAKv0pbf44W_z6NyTKdxze89f-vMWIHeK4TqC9bnQM4aC7qY5nvDBQtXjtwp9XnO3Bdlqs2WH2Q_lKb7BLlLSj3xuWaOycWzn1R5ooEsPShkEEfc/s320/Skin+care+spots+ed.jpg" width="238" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong><u>Looking After Those Smackers -</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>1. Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub -</u> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I would recommend this to any one, no matter what their age or sex. This is a beautiful product and the hint of sugar gives me a burst of happiness. I rub the little grains of sugar across my lips making sure to exfoliate the corners leaving such a smooth surface underneath. Afterwards, you lick it off! Perfect. I love this and use it about 4 times a week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<u>2. Vaseline, Pink Bubbly-</u></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Vaseline is such a statement lip moisturising tool. I usually switch up between this, body shops lip butter and carmex. Coating my lips in this morning, night and usually throughout the day eliminates any dry patches or annoying cracking.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<strong><u>Top Tip -</u></strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
DRINK WATER. Lots and lots of it. Water is your friend. Get it? There is nothing more satisfying or healthy than hydrated skin!</div>

Hello my Lovelies,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Now, when I get an idea in my head I get fixated upon it and completely become obsessed with completing it as soon as possible. The other morning I woke up with the attitude that I was going to change my room and de-clutter it from all the junk and bits and bobs I had been collecting over the years. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
It is safe to say that yesterday I went on a little shopping spree (guilty!). There are still a few more little purchases I would like to make before I am 100% happy, but I thought I would show you what I bought yesterday.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I am very particular about cushions, lining then up in a neat line before I go to bed and putting them exactly in their place in the morning. Because I live in Brighton at uni most of my time I never really had cushions at home, well.. I do now! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
2 Pearl large cushions - Argos, Buy 1 get 2nd half price - £9.99 for both</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
2 Soft white cushions - Primark - 2 for £7.00</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Silk feel birdcage cushion - Argos - 1/2 price at £4.99</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Rectangular floral cushion - Primark - £4.00</div>
Small Diamond cushion - Primar - £4.00<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

Again another candle from the Tilley Parker London range at TK Maxx, it is such a gorgeous strong scent and perfect for spring days. I picked this up for £5.99. Behind it is circular vase with 3 pastel pink faux flowers, I bought this from Sainsburys last year. </div>

I came across this cute bird diffuser a couple of weeks ago at TK Maxx and I had to go back a buy it! Its scent is vanilla and coconut, and although the smell is present and recognisable it is not too strong making it perfect for my bathroom. I can't remember the exact price of this but I think it was around £7.00</div>

I am a sucker for any type of toiletries. This cute mandarin soap and hand lotion came in such a sweet crockery tray with a muslin hand cloth. It was irresistible for £5.99.</div>

Last but not least, adding a little bit of luxury to my bathroom I picked up this super soft matt. By super soft I mean crazy crazy super soft, your feet literally sink in to it. I picked this up for £14.00 at TK Maxx.</div>

I still would like to pick up some white/cream vintage frames - if anyone has any tips on where to find these I would be so grateful! I love the new look of my room, and I can't wait to show you all the finished product. It is definitely work in progress :)<br />

Hello all :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The first post of my 3 C's diet and fitness series is one dedicated to choice. As I have said before choice is all to do with making your own sensible and healthy food choices. Now, we have all been in the position where we are out with the girlies at a restaurant and in front of you is an array of gorgeous treats, meals and desserts to choose from. This is temptation at its highest, especially for me. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Eating out is one of my favourites social activities, but it is also the hardest and often leaves me feeling close to caving! If this sounds like you, I am here to give you my top 4 tips to eating out and making those healthy choices.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
1. Do your research : I find looking at the menu before going leaves me with less stress and an outlook of what is on the menu. I usually make my choices before I go meaning that when I arrive I will be less likely to head to temptation. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
2. Check out the healthy options: Many, if not all restaurants offer a healthy option be it salads or fat free produce. I am a huge Italian food lover and Zizzi and Pizza Express are on my top visited restaurants. On both menus there are healthy options. If you want a pizza, have a pizza, but the healthy version on a smaller, thinner base with a salad. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Below is a picture of the Superfood Salad at Zizzi. I love it and it has become my staple meal.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsGoZS4ndnmxKJEeNDzDY447ppfeAdgrY5q86bSqFgnJJWU6aVMpayjYLx6E2YT3jl2b_81_umYExFnjZfJ__D4NFdR7_T1gHg-TjwRhrcb4hemh9TjdtWdV2UNmBrWmQ43eRtxpbB5gE/s640/blogger-image-1694112566.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsGoZS4ndnmxKJEeNDzDY447ppfeAdgrY5q86bSqFgnJJWU6aVMpayjYLx6E2YT3jl2b_81_umYExFnjZfJ__D4NFdR7_T1gHg-TjwRhrcb4hemh9TjdtWdV2UNmBrWmQ43eRtxpbB5gE/s640/blogger-image-1694112566.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
3. Share - We are all human, and there are many of us who have ravenous days. Where we look at a menu and want everything, starter main and dessert - the whole shebang. To counter this I always make sure I share my portions, sharing a starter or sharing a dessert gives you that kick but still allows you to have a smaller and more controlled portion.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
4. Do not deprive yourself - Girls, if you want a dessert, please, just have one. Make that choice. The more you deprive yourself the more you will be gorging once you get home. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
xx</div>

I love reading posts like these so I want to share with you my most used and loved products during the month of June. </div><div><br></div><div><b>Nivea Daily Essentials Double Effect Eye Make-up Remover -</b></div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2x4bohsOIC4HDx5BUGv93aBv8P7p1mXxb9-mF-l9lM1nzGYIHMbam_0ROSUdDQiG3o9YKkDbRQbDzeaHK8HDlSCPxCaLK6wMp4VsaEukJfznZKWtD8ralInq6gLxHk6DjIZJqVjk0QFA/s640/blogger-image--1934845095.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2x4bohsOIC4HDx5BUGv93aBv8P7p1mXxb9-mF-l9lM1nzGYIHMbam_0ROSUdDQiG3o9YKkDbRQbDzeaHK8HDlSCPxCaLK6wMp4VsaEukJfznZKWtD8ralInq6gLxHk6DjIZJqVjk0QFA/s640/blogger-image--1934845095.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div>Long winded name huh? But there is nothing long winded about this product. As you know, I wear a hell of a lot of eye makeup often giving me a look of panda eyes in the morning (never a good look). This however has seemed to put a stop to that! Most eye makeup removers I have used previously have left a very oily residue. Yet Nivea's has a two phase formula of both oil and aqua. The oil works first in removing even the toughest of waterproof mascara while the aqueous phase removes the oily residue. The two phases are visible from the outside of the bottle split between blue and clear - it's fun to shake it up and watch them blend! I am a contact lense wearer and it is not often you find a product that is safe for us blind bats! I have repurchases this twice already and will definitely be again! </div><div><br></div><div><b>Phil Smith Argan Oil Hair Transforming Cream - </b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmXV6AFS4xR9nQbvUCr8WMBSuurS6qL8gTIe1ZPoh3QtWstrKwlADNr30QxYRWrtbq-Zt6lmEaKlJjBEwuZcrjr3ZWTB797g5SWb_mpVF5uhm4Tejeu9UFW_NkdxQ1tEjdAfIVwtntzWQ/s640/blogger-image-1421127675.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmXV6AFS4xR9nQbvUCr8WMBSuurS6qL8gTIe1ZPoh3QtWstrKwlADNr30QxYRWrtbq-Zt6lmEaKlJjBEwuZcrjr3ZWTB797g5SWb_mpVF5uhm4Tejeu9UFW_NkdxQ1tEjdAfIVwtntzWQ/s640/blogger-image-1421127675.jpg"></a></div><br></b></div><div>I am known as an avid believer of Argan oil and have been using the pure stuff that I picked up from Morrocco (hardcore) for nearly a year now. My little pot is looking pretty empty now, so I have had to go on a search for another Argan oil product that will do my terrible ends justice! I had a blonde phase last year which involved a lot of bleach leaving my hair quite dry and in constant need of moister and revitalisation. This product is absolutely perfect for me and has really transformed my hair. I use it in 2 ways, for an intense treatment I will apply to the ends of my hair overnight and wash in the morning. But for day to day use I apply sparingly to from the mid-lengths to the ends of damp hair and continue to blow dry as normal. </div><div><br></div><div><b>MUA Pro-base Fixing Mist -</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbdvkLdlTVZsKDC8sIK_6O-HxVKdRlrLbl-uJExk3DnmVhovQDxixHvrqLBsI-iUqlEVmp1uMGdLB059H9ubu42UmIMpxfU4iOHC-KmYkYYLA8KDa2R5lQtu5PjbUVmGX5dsNPRtifh4Q/s640/blogger-image-1312713687.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbdvkLdlTVZsKDC8sIK_6O-HxVKdRlrLbl-uJExk3DnmVhovQDxixHvrqLBsI-iUqlEVmp1uMGdLB059H9ubu42UmIMpxfU4iOHC-KmYkYYLA8KDa2R5lQtu5PjbUVmGX5dsNPRtifh4Q/s640/blogger-image-1312713687.jpg"></a></div><br></b></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div>I had been looking for a high street/drug store fixing spray for a long time until I came across this little number! I am a great fan of MUA's affordable range so I was drawn to this immediately. I didn't have great hopes for it, but for the price I thought I would give it a go. Except for the sticky residue and drying time of this product I have nothing negative to say. My foundation doesn't budge and it is a great alternative to the higher end fixing sprays out there.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Caudalie Beauty Elixir - </b></div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgYNjdoDrcwYMiNu1KoqB9a-PXIPL8xJ2yKHwiuLgVQwFbewYgzNwqt2ldnu8vUSEElhRDKBlHgVQSakFVo6051NaaYktHaSoMKj8iN6TJh-GoGJYWQT_7UJkSFi831E724uzkqXEaUeg/s640/blogger-image-891201161.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgYNjdoDrcwYMiNu1KoqB9a-PXIPL8xJ2yKHwiuLgVQwFbewYgzNwqt2ldnu8vUSEElhRDKBlHgVQSakFVo6051NaaYktHaSoMKj8iN6TJh-GoGJYWQT_7UJkSFi831E724uzkqXEaUeg/s640/blogger-image-891201161.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div>Again, this is another product I have been using for quite a while. But with the hot weather coming in (hopefully) my beauty elixir is the first thing I reach for. They recommend that you spray this onto your face prior to moisturising but I find myself using this throughout the day to refresh my face. The 30ml bottle is also perfect size to fit in to your handbag - perfect for a night out in a sweaty nightclub. It has a strong scent of mint which I find refreshing but I can understand why this would put some people off. </div><div><br></div><div><b>Real Techniques Blush Brush - </b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><div class="separator" style="font-weight: bold; clear: both; "><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4YVJR-zTXL4GqhCqVOslHB3lCNW9v44yo7k39GARPkqMwUyHEcl8vJx0W47XPuxqb4ID5_KguQR_u8hhyuxT3GAuuNZqFgiqJJ5DdzSJFwY79L9ES3C0jxa_x-1lykz1s7mBLxBAgVuA/s640/blogger-image--570427092.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4YVJR-zTXL4GqhCqVOslHB3lCNW9v44yo7k39GARPkqMwUyHEcl8vJx0W47XPuxqb4ID5_KguQR_u8hhyuxT3GAuuNZqFgiqJJ5DdzSJFwY79L9ES3C0jxa_x-1lykz1s7mBLxBAgVuA/s640/blogger-image--570427092.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="font-weight: bold; clear: both; "><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; ">I am a right make up brush snob and always seem to find myself going back to the same old brand. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
These 3 C's being:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><u>Chance, Choice and Change.</u></strong> </div>
<br />
I dedicate my new routine and healthy outlook in life towards these words. Therefore, I am planning a new health and fitness series for Sophisticate blog. Each week I will focus on these 3 words as a separate entity that ultimately become the new and improved you. I will be telling you how I lost weight, how I maintain weight, my food choices, my gym routines and how I treat my new healthy body.<br />
<br />
The simple sum to an improved you is ;<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<u><strong>Chance + Choice +/= Change</strong></u></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong><u></u></strong> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you are going to commit to solving and completing this equation alongside me, then this must me kept in your mind at all times.<u><strong> </strong>This equation is your life, treat it with caution and handle with care.</u> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Although simple words, these words transcend towards particular attributes to my life and their own worth. So, below is an explanation of each and their role within mine and your new healthy life.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><strong>Chance -</strong></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<strong>Chance</strong> is my buzz word when it comes to exercise. Now is the time to take a <strong>chance</strong>, say yes to new workout routines, new classes. If you're feeling nervous about exercising in front of others, or making that first step towards a healthy life, take that <strong>chance</strong>, embrace it. 6 months from now you will not be regretting or embarrassed about taking that<strong> chance</strong>. Therefore, my <strong>Chance</strong> posts will be focussing on exercise, challenging myself, and inviting you to take that <strong>chance</strong> with me.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><strong>Choice -</strong></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<strong>Choice</strong> and the power of <strong>choosing</strong> is the most important element when it comes to my diet. By making good <strong>choices</strong> you can adapt and change your life. I am a right foodie, and food plays a huge role in my life so I had to take control of my food <strong>choices</strong> in order to make this change. One important piece of advise that I stress to everyone and anyone is if you want it, have it but in moderation. <strong>Choice</strong> and moderation is essential. <strong>Choice</strong> posts will be food diaries, recipes, eating guides and my tips and tricks.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><strong>Change -</strong></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<strong>Change</strong> your life, your motivation and your outlook. Improve yourself and love yourself. <strong>Change </strong>posts will be about how I look after my body, beauty bits, chatty bits, things I do for fun and how I enjoy myself.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Lets get started then Sophisticates. All you need is CCC. Take the pledge, commit to me and I promise you can do it! Take my 3 C's programme along with me and lets support each other.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
Choice<br />
<br />
Change<br />
<br />
The 3 C's, trivial to some, but everything to me. <br />
<br />
The halt in my blogging journey was mirrored by a halt in my life, my outlook and my motivation. It has been 6 months, but those 6 months have completely been the most vital and significant in my life so far. I took a chance in controlling my choices which provided CHANGE. A change for a better, confident and more healthy me. <br />
<br />
I have finally worked out who I am, what I want and where I want to be. I feel and look the healthiest I have ever felt - this is a huge breakthrough. My relationship with Jack still as strong as ever, but I have found a new love for myself. Fitness and health now takes huge precedence in my life, I take in to account my calories, my workouts, my nutrition and put my health first every single time. <br />
<br />
I feel I have a new lease of life, and a new outlook where I am extremely optimistic. <br />
<br />
Motivation, self love and worth is all I needed to find, and well, I found it. I have been thinking about making this blog post for a while, I have written it numerous times only to find myself deleting it over again. Trying to make you understand why I abandoned you all for months is so hard but I hope I have explained myself well. Below I am going to include a picture of myself, a picture that is my trophy, or the cover photo for this new, healthy chapter of my life.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBvoFvdNGN_Mdj568f9Gg7xpjU6bs3_SvXu9mj6MJqEjmcX7r4ojCyp-6un4Ua7KUtNSwhDFB86OmEvS0ZaetOkuBXOnqmRP10ROUkqMyC0KmT0AekOG_K9uKkSYVU9QnNpfbx5o6pLCg/s1600/tumblr_mox2dn8p2G1spfmvoo1_500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBvoFvdNGN_Mdj568f9Gg7xpjU6bs3_SvXu9mj6MJqEjmcX7r4ojCyp-6un4Ua7KUtNSwhDFB86OmEvS0ZaetOkuBXOnqmRP10ROUkqMyC0KmT0AekOG_K9uKkSYVU9QnNpfbx5o6pLCg/s320/tumblr_mox2dn8p2G1spfmvoo1_500.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
So, as with life, I want to bring these 3 C's back in to my blogging world. One that had to be paused in order for its development. After all, my blog is my outlet and a way of expressing myself. To be outing myself as a pessimistic and unhealthily comfortable woman is something that doesn't lend well to commitment or satisfaction for both parties.<br />
<br />
Those of you who have followed and read my blog from the start, I will be adapting it to not merely beauty and lifestyle but also food, health and fitness. It is something I am passionate about and something I would love to pass on to you guys. A healthy body is a healthy mind. <br />
<br />
So here I am Sophisiticates I return with a vengeance, stronger and more powerful than ever! <br />
<br />
<br />
I still love you all so much<br />
<br />

<br />
As a blogger, 'tweeter', 'youtuber' and 'facebooker' I am constantly interacting with social media, be it talking to my friends or reading a blog. As cliche as it may sound, I would be lost without my smart phone, converging all the applications I 'need' to go through my day stress free. And it is just that, stress. I am a worrier, and I worry about little things. My friends and I are infamous for our long facebook mail chats. It is hard to get everyone together, and with a large group of over 10 friends, facebook is the easiest platform to communicate (It gets expensive trying to text every single person). In this way, social media has made communication with my friends, who are in many different parts of the country and world, a hell of alot easier than years before! Couldn't be dealing with writing 10 letters every week I tell you!!<br />
<br />
Social media has also opened its doors for hobbies, like blogging. Many of you who are reading this post are bloggers too, and share my hobby in writing, reviewing and sharing your lives over the internet. If it wasn't for social media such as the wonderful platform that is Google's blogger, this wouldn't have been possible. I am very greatful for the opportunities readily available for me in this 21st century media landscape. <br />
<br />
However, it pains me to say, that I do feel social media is becoming maybe more of a hinderance for the minority of the population. This came to light in last nights dare I say it, 'cut4beiber' hashtag on Twitter. Twitter is, generally, a revolutionary social media site. But is it too revolutionary? <br />
<br />
Following the discovery of Justin Beiber's cannabis use, young fans took to twitter in a bid to 'get attention' from him in order to 'stop him killing himself' through the use of drugs. I was seeing tweets from girls as young as 15 uploaded pictures of cut arms and even going as far as to threaten to microwave their hamster. Now, subjectively, this sounds so absurd that it might spark a few guilty giggles from you. However, I am shocked that this kind of conversation can happen so casually, readily and frequently over twitter. I think a large part of this, is that the girl in question was only 15. At 15, call me stereotypical, but celebrity fandom is all consuming and can become overwhelming. Communicating with celebrities over the twitter platform does provide the illusion of talking to a friend - a great but dangerous asset. <br />
<br />
Maybe this will spark a reaction from twitter in terms of moderation. Shouldn't this serve as an example that those younger than the age of 16/17 shouldn't be allowed to communicate so openly over the internet? I think in order for these dangerous, shocking and upright scary occurances to stop, there must be a rethink in the guidelines for those of a younger age. For me, as an outsider, you may think that statement is perhaps impossible or idealistic, but moderation is and always has been the key to the safety of our teenagers. Parent's must be aware of their childrens activity on the internet and permission must be needed in order to proceed with twitter registration.<br />
<br />
Thankfully, after Twitter had got in contact with this young girl, she admitted that the picture was a fake. However, this does not mean that these horrifying thoughts were not running through her mind for at least a second. Our teenagers are becoming exposed to these dangerous topics in which are sometimes encouraged and supported - take for instance, pro-ana sites. I am a BIG believer in democracy, but only when age permits. <br />
<br />
What do you guys think?<br />

<br />
I hope that 2012 was a satisfying year, and provided you with lots of happy memories!<br />
For me, 2012 has been a monumentous year. I have achieved SO much and grown into myself. It was only 2011 when I would ponder over starting my blog, worrying about peoples subjective opinions. Now, however, I have emersed myself in the blogging community, and starting off my YouTube journey!<br />
<br />
Now, it is the time of year where we begin to mark the new year as a "new me". As much as this statement is refuted on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, I have every faith that the New Year provides us humans an opportunity for change!<br />
<br />
So here it goes, <br />
<br />
<strong><u>My 2013 New Years Resolutions</u></strong><br />
<br />
1. Be more confident in my own voice - speak up.<br />
2. Keep my room uncluttered, free of chaos and full of peace.<br />
3. Lose a stone by the end of March! <br />
4. Blog at least 2 times a week!<br />
5. Develop and STICK TO a healthy, rejuvenating skin care routine. <br />
<br />
My resolutions, are more smalls changes rather than revolutionary ones. Creating small, realistic and managable goals means you are more likely to stick to them. It is unlikely that you could stick to a goal like going to the gym everyday, unless you're superwoman!<br />
<br />
What are your resolutions?<br />
<br />
